Early Heseri communities lived in Hada, Hoifa, Foala, Bodune, Changbai Mountain, the Dorji River, and Sekin in Heilongjiang. One Longbaoyu He lineage records that its founding migrant Bandi was stationed in Xiuyan in the twenty-sixth year of the Kangxi reign and settled there.
