Migration and Distribution
Migration from Taihu to Yunxi
In the 34th year of the Qianlong reign (1769), Peng Fakang moved with his family from Taihu, Anhui, to the Shangjin area of Yunxi, Hubei, because of famine. His descendants later moved into the Guan Fang Township area, and he is regarded as the founding migrant ancestor of the Yunxi Peng clan.

Surviving Genealogies
The Anhui Taihu Peng Genealogy comprises eighteen volumes plus one introductory volume, compiled by Peng Yixun and Peng Yisong and printed in nineteen woodblock movable-type fascicles by Sanshou Hall in 1946. A modern mimeographed Hubei Yunxi Peng Genealogy also survives, with its author undetermined.
