Origins

Zhen'an Lineage

The 瑚 surname in Yanwuhe and Cangfang of Daping Town, Zhen'an County, Shaanxi, traces its ancestors to Waxieba in Raozhou Prefecture, Jiangxi. During the late Yuan wars, Wang Daocheng moved to Huanggang, Hubei, inherited his maternal grandfather Hu's property, and his descendants adopted Hu as their surname. In 1768, Hu Yiwen moved from Huanggang to Yanwuhe in Zhen'an County.
