As a surname, 郄 may be pronounced qiè; in Donghai County, Jiangsu, it is pronounced kè, while in Qingzhou and Chang乐 County of Shandong, Inner Mongolia, and Shanxi, it is pronounced qí; the Manchu 郄 surname is pronounced xì.
