Origins

During the Ming dynasty, the ancestors of the Lufei lineage branched from Wuxing and married into the Lu family of Tongxiang. In the early Qing dynasty, the surname was changed to Lufei because a branch of the Fei family had no male heir and the two families were to be jointly continued.
