Migration and Distribution

Against a background of warfare and flight from danger, the branch associated with Jinyin Shuke migrated north and south. The northern branch passed through Xinxiang and Jiaozuo in Henan into Shanxi; the southern branch passed through Hubei, Jiangxi, and Hunan into Luocheng in Guangxi. Guangxi Yin families were concentrated in Luocheng and later spread to Rongshui, Liucheng, Xiangzhou, Wuxuan, Liujiang, Yizhou, Du'an, Lingui, Longsheng, and other places.
