The ancestors of the Jiangsu Huaiyin Guzhai Zhu lineage came from Wuyuan County of Huizhou Prefecture, later moved to Kunshan County of Suzhou Prefecture for official service, and relocated to Guzhai Village of Lianshui County in Huai’an Prefecture in the late Yuan and early Ming period.
